Account Deletion Policy – Advocate Diary

Advocate Diary (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides users with the ability to permanently delete their account and associated personal data at any time, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Google Play Developer policies.
In-App Account Deletion Process Users may request deletion of their account directly within the Advocate Diary mobile application by following these steps:
- Open the Advocate Diary application.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request.
- Upon confirmation, the account deletion process will be initiated.
Data Deleted Upon Account Removal When an account is deleted, we permanently remove the following data associated with the user:
- Profile and registration information (including phone number and/or email address)
- Case records and related legal entries
- Diary entries and notes
- Uploaded documents, scanned files, and PDFs
- Subscription and purchase-related metadata (except where retention is required for legal, tax, or financial compliance purposes)
- Deleted data cannot be restored once the process is completed.
Data Retention We do not retain personal data after account deletion except where:
- Retention is required by applicable law, regulation, or tax compliance obligations; or
- Limited records are necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce legal agreements. Any retained data will be securely stored and used strictly for compliance purposes.
Alternative Account Deletion Request (If In-App Deletion Fails) If a user is unable to delete their account using the in-app option due to technical issues or access limitations, they may submit a manual deletion request by contacting us via email: Email: [bcservicessvr@gmail.com] Subject Line: Account Deletion Request - Advocate Diary.
The request must include:
- Registered mobile number or email address associated with the account
- Brief description of the issue (if applicable)
- For security purposes, we may require identity verification before processing the request.
